Sourdough bread is on the rise.

Seems everyone is learning to bake sourdough bread, a wholesome activity to pass the time while social distancing. There's a shortage of bannetons (proofing baskets) so I added this item to my pottery product line.

Approximately 8" x 3" - some variation as each one is handmade. Terracotta. Made in Calgary. 

The round terracotta banneton is used to provide structure for bread dough during proofing. The properties of terracotta allow for perfect and easy proofing. Terracotta draws moisture away from the dough surface to give bread a crispier crust. The embossed pattern on the interior of the banneton gives consistent patterns for artisan style bread. 

The banneton is not meant to go into the oven. Hand wash. 

This product can not be shipped at this time. Only curb side pickups are available.

STRENGTH IN SERVICE POSTER PACK
